So. My kids have been in the US with their mother and grandparents for the last 10 days, and they get back tomorrow!

I’ve missed them.

I have felt a level of ‘missing out’, of not sharing in their first American experience, but that’s life. They’ve seen aspects of one of my favourite countries on earth.

I’m so grateful for technologies such as FaceTime and Skype which means I can see and talk to them. This keeps them close.
